For a town so small in actual size, Key West is absolutely exploding with merriment,
culture and fun. Key West is often referred to as the end of the line, as it is the
southernmost point of the United States, but for many, it is the beginning of something
new and exciting. People from all walks of life have made pilgrimages to Key West, Florida
to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The famous poet, Shel Silverstein, spent
the remainder of his life here. Ernest Hemingway wrote some of his most highly acclaimed
works while residing here and Jimmy Buffet immortalized this seaside community in his song
Margaritaville. The Hilton Key West Resort & Marina is everything that symbolizes Key
West: sun, fun and relaxation. Built in the same style as many other Key
West buildings, the romantic Victorian genre, the Hilton has earned an impeccable
reputation among vacationers both here and in other parts of the world. The Hilton Key
West Resort & Marina and the Sunset Cottages are the city's only Triple Diamond and 4A
rated hotels. From the moment that vacationers set foot on the Hilton property, the
hassles and stresses of everyday life will slip from their shoulders like a no longer
needed winter sweater. The cobalt blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico offer a priceless
view.
An Energetic Town
The Hilton is only moments away from all of the wonderful sights and sounds that make Key
West one of the most unique and enjoyable places on earth. The town?s main thoroughfare,
Duval Street, is lined with restaurants, bars, galleries and specialty shops. Historical
points of interest, such as the Hemingway House and President Truman?s former retreat, the
Little White House, are only minutes away. The best place to be in Key
West is Sunset Pier at the end of the day. The main attraction is the glorious sun sinking
into the Gulf with the added bonus of live entertainment provided courteously by local
street performers. Be sure to catch the Cat Man?s show where his numerous cats walk on
tightropes and jump through rings of fire. To experience one of the most memorable
vacations of your life, reserve a room at the Hilton Key West Resort & Marina and start
packing.
